MEET Captain Wayne
As a native of the Florida Everglades, Captain Wayne grew up in the Fort Lauderdale area. He has been piloting Weston Airboat Rides since the age of 19 when he purchased his very first airboat. Captain Wayne has over 35 years of experience offering airboat rides in the Everglades and is a certified United States coast guard. From a very young age, he developed a passion for the Everglades. Wayne quickly realized that fishing charters and airboat rides were the best way to make others discover his favorite area of Florida, the glorious Everglades.

Captain Wayne’s experience is second to none. He has probably accumulated more hours on the waters of the Everglades than any other captain. He is one of the pioneers of airboat rides in the Wellington area of the Everglades. To say that the Everglades is his passion would be an understatement, and Wayne loves sharing everything he knows. Captain Wayne’s airboats come with a cooler and some bottled water to help keep you hydrated throughout your adventure. We also encourage you to take your drinks along with you. We recommend water, but feel free to bring your favorite soda. The extra sugar can give you that energy boost. Also, you can bring along a few snacks, so you won’t let hunger or thirst get the better of you.
As far as clothing, we recommend you to take along comfortable clothing with you. It is also essential that you take sunscreen for your skin and sunglasses to protect your eyes from the sun.
